Electrical Project Manager / Engineer

Salary/Rate:

£45,000 – £50,000/annum

Vision Personnel is helping an existing client, looking for a motivated and organised Electrical Project Manager / Engineer to join our existing team working between both the office and our nationwide sites.

Must have Requirements:

• City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent
• Level 3 Technical and Vocational Qualification or Level 3 Diploma
• BS7671 18th Edition  High Voltage experience  Methodical, accurate and process focused approach
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Computer Literacy
• Driving License
• Flexibility for working throughout the UK, including evenings and weekend
• Minimum 5 years working within the renewables industry

Desired Skills:

• Experience of working in PV installation and maintenance, together with onshore wind
• CAD experience
• Experience in communications set-up and configuration
• HV Authorised Person / Switching Course
• 18th Edition amendment 2

Responsibilities will include:

• High and Low Voltage installation work when required on all projects
• Carryout planned and reactive maintenance when required on all sites
• High and low Voltage electrical design, plant specification and liaising with subcontracted designers for High Voltage design
• Completing analysis of site performance to make improvements to ongoing operation
• Identifying, recording and responding to faults, with a proactive, problem-solving approach
• Completing designs and reports
• Reviewing and monitoring all asset managed renewable energy sites on a rota basis, including weekend cover
